Day 20: tools & materials. My background is arts and philosophy. My teacher and mentor Nino Barriuso used to lecture at the university of arts. His lecture was called “De lo líquido a lo sólido ” that means the transformation from the liquid to the solid. That’s what I do -I solidify materials-, usually using a kiln or by mixing materials like water & plaster; other materials are clay; oxides. In the past I worked in Tirantis the oldest material& tools supplier shop in The UK and there I become a technical advisor of materials and tools for sculpture and restoration.
